Venice Beach Farmer’s Market – Part I

18 Jun

Every Friday morning there is a farmer’s market on Venice Boulevard in Venice, California.  It’s not a big farmer’s market but the produce is beautiful (the purple artichokes, especially).  This morning, we stopped at the farmer’s market so Kim could buy vegetables for an amazing Indian dinner that she has promised to guest blog about tomorrow night(!).    Also, you get one flower free.  So there’s that.

So nice to see a farmer’s market in a region where stuff actually grows. Here in Montana, we’re doing our ritual pagan sacrifices to encourage some produce from Mother Earth.
