The T-Shirt Dress

20 Oct

Do you have an over-sized (like XL or XXL) t-shirt that you love?  If so, you should make a dress out of it.  No sewing, as usual.  And no step-by-step pictures necessary.  It’s easy enough just to explain.  Also, I forgot the step by step pictures, and now the shirt is in the laundry.

Slip the shirt on feet first (your feet go through the neck) and pull it up to below your arms, strapless dress style.  Tie the sleeves tightly and evenly in back so they make a cute knot in the center of your back.  If you pull and tie the sleeves correctly, the top will be fitted and the bottom will be A-line.  Done!

If you have learned to love college football on account of your husband, make a dress out of the school’s t-shirt.  Best ND wife ever.

We should buy a variety of Montana shirts in the airport and wear them for Thanksgiving dinner!
